The Neuschwanstein Castle is located in Germany, more precisely in the region of Bavaria. It is located in the middle of a quite old city that incorporates several monasteries and citadels. Very close there is a Roman road known as Via Claudia. The castle was built by order of Louis II, “the mad king”, in the year of 1866. This spectacular construction is surrounded by the beautiful mountains of the Alps and by hundreds of waterfalls and lagoons. Where is the Declaration of Independence of the USA?

Mount Rushmore is a sculptural monument carved between 1927 and 1941 on a granite mountain in South Dakota (United States) that features the 18-meter-high faces of American presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln. The most interesting thing about it is that it has a secret chamber where several historical documents are kept such as: the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The Great Wall of China is known for its large size measuring 21,196 kilometers in length. Its construction took 200 years. Two books that you wouldn’t imagine that were censurated.

The first is The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by Lyman Frank Baum in 1900. It was originally banned in American colleges and libraries, accused of supporting negativism and witchcraft, and of showing human abilities as acquired rather than given by God. The second is The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes by Arthur Conan Doyle in 1892. It was banned in the Soviet Union until 1940 for supposed “occultism”.
