We all have heard at least once about Sigmund Freud who was a neurologist but internationally known because of his book The interpretation of Dreams. Even though he was neurologist he standed out for his philosofy’s innovations and discoveries.
What will you think now if I tell you that he was a drug addict? You won’t believe it but it’s true.
It all started when he was trying to give up smoking. He had been smoking for many years and had this idea in order to improve his health but it turned into mental problems such as depression or stress. As a result, cocaine appeared in his life as a solution that he would then accept and stand up for.
His most well-known books about Philosofy were written in the period of drug addiction. Some years after an investigation showed the disadvantages of the cocaine so he stopped defending it but he kept consuming cocaine.
I hope this post have showed you something you didn’t know!
